No, this is not true. The franking machine manufacturers put restrictions in place for its customers because they do not want their customer to find out the better pricing options, but as per the Office of Fair Trading’s OFT 2005, every franking machine user is free to choose any supplier including third party suppliers. This means that a customer can buy good quality compatible franking supplies at exceptionally low costs as compared to OEM franking cartridges/labels.
For any cartridges, whether it is compatible cartridge or even genuine cartridge, it is exceedingly rare to cause a problem in your franking machine. Common problem with the machines is due to worn out printheads of the machine which is normal process, and it requires change after few years of usage (Just like filters for car) however it has nothing to do with ink you use in your machine. It is incorrect to suggest the reason for such issue is compatible inks, ask your engineer to detail the issue and ask them to give them in writing that this won’t be the case with genuine inks. All orders at Your Franking are sent by recorded Royal Mail 24 – 48 hours delivery. Any special delivery, Next day delivery can also be sent on request. You can make the special delivery request while placing your order with us.

Yes, we do supply Genuine (OEM) manufacturer Inks. Majority of our customers use Compatible Inks as they give same quality of impressions at much cheaper prices however, we do supply full range of Genuine Inks to cater to the demands of users preferring to use Genuine Inks only. As a supplier we have huge buying capacity direct from manufacturers allowing us to secure much better discounts, we pass these discounts to customers giving them benefit of better discounted prices even on genuine parts.
To offer customer peace of mind and sense of security on use of compatible inks, we offer machine warranty to customers while using YF inks. In case of any damages to the machine caused due to YF supplies (the cause should be detailed in Engineers report) in that case we would cover the cost of damaged equivalent to the amount of invoice from Your Franking Limited.
